Do you ever dream about games/collecting?

Hi,

The night before last night I had a really odd dream... I dreamt that a woman who used to live in a nearby house (in fact she died years ago) had thrown out a lot of game stuff in the trash, including loads of mint condition boxed NES and Videopac games, a grey Saturn with no buttons ( :smt017 ) and a Sophia devkit - but, being the usual a*hole that she was, she didnt allow us to take it away (dont remember who 'us' exactly is) but we did anyway, but when I got home my mom was bitching about the Sophia being to big & dirty to keep :smt043

I also have vague recollections of other dreams about finding rare stuff somewhere, anyone of you had the same?

All the time ^_^ I have re-occuring dreams about being sent a beta version of Biohazard 1.5 all the time.

And on occasion I have dreams of finding really good games for dirt cheap second hand.

I had dreams that involved me being in a game (Gothic, Thief), collecting games, and playing games. I love it when i'm in a game.

Just last night, I had dream where I was in a store and found a DreamcstS32 player!! What it was, it was an SNES attachment to the DC that went on the back. They also had tons of rare Saturn games Dreamcast games, EVERYTHING. I didn't have any money but I asked the clerk about the games and she said that I can just take them home. So I took them all home with me, I cleaned out the store practically. When I got home, I hooked up the DreamcastS32 and when I pressed the power button to turn it on, I woke up :(. I almost thought the thing actually existed.

Hmm, only had a few game related dreams.

The one that seems to re-occur the most is the Biohazard dream, it dosent seem to take place at any of the game location but at places i know or have been to. Im usually unarmed and making my way through a very tall building of some sort. It always seems to involve some dangerous looking lift that feels like its going to drop at any moment.

The best thing is its extremely vivid. I can still remember entire sections of the dreams which is pretty amazing as some of them are like over a year old.

I remember years ago before the N64 was released having a dream about mario 64, i was inside the game & was walking around exploring the castle, i didnt jump through any painting or anything just walking. It was strange as hell as it felt so real at the time. :smt043

ah, good to hear I'm not the only one :p

I also remember a friend of mine having told me his Morrowind/Resident Evil dream, where he was standing in Morrowinds character creation room (in Scyda Neen where you start out) when suddenly RE-style zombies broke through the wall which made him cry out "RETREAT!" in his sleep, waking up a few people :smt043

Funny you ask. Just last night I had a dream that I found A HUGE closet at my church full of games, systems, and unrealesed stuff. Suddenly the dream changed and I was in a gamestop. I waited in line and when I walked out the store, I woke up. :smt009

I have had a very strange dream about collecting videogames before. well, here it goes,

I was in a very large store, don't know how i got there or where it was but i was there. I was walking aroud when i got to a section marked videogames. It was a huge section, with many rows of shelves covered with noting but game stuff. I came to a section marked consoles. There i found every console in existance. form the Gamecube to the Playdia all in Mint and Perfect condition, but there was a catch. All of the systems were selling for original prices, Neo Geo and 3DO were out of the question. I picked up a what seemed like rare, did not know if it was rare because i did not know what it was, hand held system and started looking for a price. I never found out how much the system cost because i woke up, but it was still a cool dream. I wish that store was real.

I wish there was a store with every console, but i dont want them to be original priced. There is no way i would pay $700 for a 3DO. Now a Neo Geo, thats another story. From what i have read on the ASSEMbler main page, i am guessing that the Assembler doesn't like the 3DO much.

I just had a wierd dream that I was in a store named Yakumo. I don't know if the Yakumo here is Japanese or British but the guy in the store was Japanese with long hair. He had a big selection on Sega items. Some good rare games hear and there. There was one sega system that caught my attention, it was called a Master CD and it was basically a CD Addon for the Master System. does such a thing exist?? Anyway, he had a crap load of Sega Master games, most of them were crap but he did have Shinobi and Phantasy Star. I also saw some wierd looking Genesis cartridges. One game was was Sonic and Knucles w/ SOnic 3 in the same cartridge..

Then I left the store and went to a lan party.

two days ago i had a strange dream i dreamed that Yakumo and some of you guys and me was on a camping trip (sort of)

and we had a blast of talking about games and the funny thing was that i called Yakumo for Yakumo and it was in Denmark we all were drinking and having fun
(strange dream) but it was quite a good dream and the place we were on was an islandcamp
(direct translation of the word ø-lejr)
in Røsnæs a little town on Zealand.
(the island i am living on.)

and that dream was really cool.
