Zelda Airbrushed Gameboy Color
Here I'm again :D
Well, I think one year ago I've got my Zelda Airbrushed Gameboy Color. Like you see at the picture, this is some professional doing and with a lot of details. Well the seller told me, that this Gameboy Color was a price of a lottery from a popular videogame magazine. But my question now is, from WHICH magazine? Does anybody know and can help me^^ Because a lot of people are asking me where I've got this Gameboy color and I always say froma collector... I hope this is the right topic o.o Last edited by Tenchi : 12-31-2008 at 05:30 PM. |

Could you at least tell us the country this magazine would have been sold in? I'm imagining the same country the seller was from....

Sorry, I can't help you there, then. Ask some Germans! hehe.
It is a lovely machine, though! I certainly wouldn't want to use it for fear I'd destroy the artwork! Still, it is great just to look at, even! |

hehe well it could also be from a french, belgium, english, spain, italian etc etc magazine. But I think the German ones have more special lotteries ^^
btw I'm not playing with it, I'm just having it in my showcase ^^ so everybody please help me to find the magazine. If you are from Germany look in your old Nintendo Club magizines, I think I have seen this gameboy there o0 |

If it was Germany, then chances are high that it was done by Rachu (http://www.top-airbrush.de) as commissional work for the magazine that gave it away as a price. That of course means that it's not an official edition. Looks great anyway, and I'd recommend asking Rachu if they did it, and if so, how many units were made.

This was featured in N64 Magazine a good few years back, in an article with other gameboy related art.

There is a german website about old videogame magazines at www.kultpower.de They don't have the Bravo Screenfun scanned, but you could ask on their forums. Many german people speak English. There is also a german blog about german video game magazines at http://www.magaziniac.de |
