Personally, I think the "Free Speech" announcement and "New moderation" policy are useless. Things were going fine before. So, two members got upset and left because of some personal issues, they could have brought those things forward at any time. There's nothing we can do about that, and I don't think changing long running policies is going to help much.

As for skitzo leaving, ha who cares? He was mostly useless. I know he helped during the DDOS attack, but he was still very childish. His new actions are proving this point.

I say we ditch this new system, and go back to the way things were before. A clear cut, well defined system of moderation and "idiot punishment." Trash like S.Guard shouldn't be here, and we have usually been pretty good about keeping people like that away. It seems like this whole "Free Speech" thing is hurting the forums instead of helping.

I don't know about anyone else, but I never felt "suppressed" under the old system.

I'm beginning to get the impression that S. Guard is the embodiment of Concura's pent up rage towards our aversion to his sales technique.

I never had a problem with the old system either, but I will live with the new. Although I think we need to clarify how we go about voting someone out when most of us are unable to post new topics in the abuse forum. And for the record, the two aforementioned users need to go.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to point out flaws. Nor do I want it to be an easy process to ban whoever I feel like. And hell I realize that if we all had open access to start topics in the abuse thread it would be 'for lack of a better term' abused.

Is there any way we could take advantage of the user reputation feature and if a user gets down to a certain level then a poll is opened such as the one for Shadowlayer?

I don't even know if that is possible as I do not know how the reputation feature works, but it's a thought. I'll keep thinking though.

If you are talking about that PM I sent WolverineDK, that happened long before the new moderation policy shit. That PM was old, and might I add well deserved. Oh, and actually I can respect other people's opinions, I just don't tolerate stupidity :oh:

It's been brought to my attention recently I'm being accused of rejoining ASSEMbler games, under foul and inappropriate names.

How untrue these accusations towards me are. I truly don't have time for childish behavior like this, not to mention at an age where this type of behavior shouldn't even be conducted.

I have been very busy with my personal life and things continue turning for the worst. I don't have time for this.

I have nothing against the site, as I recall correctly I was in the middle of this whole DDos attack while nobody else would lift a finger to help, nor pull the hours that I did while working a full-time job to help the site. I never asked for a thank you for it, nor will I ever, but I find it painful when certain people and staff will not let me leave in peace.


People I spoke with, and never had a problem with, are pointing the finger at me in an area where I can not defend myself, I see that as somewhat of a cowardly act, none of the people pointing the finger have yet to tried to contact me, and to be honest it is a very, very easy thing to do. It seems to focus mainly around the 'usual' trouble starting mods, which is a shame as I regarded them as friends. I guess some people never change their ways.

People who represent ASSEMbler's name are exposing themselves in a very sad, shameful manner. Remember ASSEMbler himself regards me as the 'saviour' of the forum, I would not go that far, but 'yes' I helped save the day for all of you guys to enjoy long into the future.

Some of you guys seem quick to forget that a hell of a lot of people used to visit ASSEMblergames on a daily basis, purely to read the news that I used to post. I did this to help, now I'm being slagged off by people that don't even know how difficult my private life is.


To end this off, I never left with a grudge, and I said my goodbye and left it at that. Others who have some sort of grudge against me, I only ask if you wish to challenge me, do it in a floor where it is open floor, and allow me the chance to defend myself.
