As a person who doesn't really care for either party, but as a person who does care about the truth...
byuu claims that ASSEMbler was shill bidding. The second highest bidder (the shill bidder) was located in the same state ASSEMbler was in (New Jersey).
However, ASSEMbler in his ebay email to byuu, claims that the second highest bidder was Canadian.
This has been proven to be false. The alleged shill bidder macross7, has his ebay account registered in North New Jersey. He is also known as AnalogWinter in this forum.
Reading through the 'Taking things too far' thread again, I have one question:
Why did you lie about the 2nd highest bidder's location?

Has anyone tried outright asking in a public venue of ASSEMbler if he, or if someone acting on his behalf or in his benefit, tried to game eBay to prevent the SNES RGB monitor from being sold at a lower price? If not, consider the question asked.
I'm guessing that he forgot to put a reserve price or something like that. We all make mistakes so it would be good to come clean.

Well I'm on byuu's side on all of this. I mean, the proof is in the pudding. ASSEMbler, stop being a pudding cup and just let the man have his monitor, do something good for once instead of being the father of a site where the policy is "We seek the long forgotten, the long lost, the broken, the hidden. We seek out what was forgotten and repair, compile, dump and recover so that it may shine again in the eyes of the world....well, except when it harms our investments, because, well, ya know, money is wayyyyyyyyy more important than any of that crap I mentioned."
