As long as we're plugging shopping services, I'd like to recommend Celga (www.celga.com/beta)
With their Gold program you can actually have your own YJ account and place bids yourself (you pay a few bucks a month for the YJ account fees) They also support the most different non-YJ auction sites of any shopping service I know of.
On topic: if there are any midgets (or girls) reading this, here's an awesome t-shirt.

@graphique Celga seems cool, might give it a try:dance:

That's an option by the seller though. You can switch that off if you so please to do so. You can also end an auction early just to piss someone off. Not sure why you'd want to do that because you'd loose money but you can as long as you select that option when making the auction page.Originally Posted by Kron

From a sellers perspective the auto extend feature is a good one. Bit of a pain in the arse if you're bidding though!
I find you can sometimes wear down the other bidder(s) by waiting out the whole 10 minutes and then placing another bid right at the last moment. If they bid again, wait another 10 minutes and so on until one of you gives up.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. I've used SMJ before, but I'll check some of the other ones out as well.
Yeah, you're absolutely right! I've used the same technique on a Danish site called qxl.dk, and I usually win at decent prices:POriginally Posted by Oldgamingfart

The yahoo auto extend feature is only for 5 minutes, not 10 as many seem to think. The auction clock goes up to 10 minutes because it only works as such:
60 minutes
30 minutes
10 minutes
5 minutes
4 minutes
3 minutes
2 minutes
1 minute
So if you place a bid at 1:30 left to go the time will be boosted up to 6:30 but will be displayed on the auction page as 10 minutes left. You can only see the real time by using the clock popup window.
I'm not having a go at anyone, just wanted to make things clear for those who were not sure.

Thanks for the info Yakumo:thumbsup:
You forgot 15 minutes :110: ^^"
I think it's quite a good feature for sellers and I have scored good bargains nonetheless, it actually brings the online auctions closer to the real auctions' system.
The popup window however to display the time, that's just shitty antique webdesign. Like most JPN webpages :P
<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?

I wonder how many different ones there are in the end? They have different titles, and I think two have different play modes.
I only know of these. :(

Star Soldier Rensha Soft
Star Soldier Special Soft Time Trial
Some kind of Wonderswan Dev?

Yes quite possibily, with at least 4 members of this board bidding... I'm going to keep an eye on it as I have a copy of it :D
Wonder Midi is one of the rarest and probably priciest MD cartridges out there and the copy he is selling is in absolutely mint condition, yet he does not refuse to call it "JUNK" in the auction title. Incredible
<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?
Japanese sellers consider some of the most immaculate things "junk" if they have even small issues.
It's a far cry from eBay where everyone and their brother screams that Super Mario Bros is RARE!!!!

LOL, indeed I admire the Japanese sellers honesty. I also love what the online translator spits out whenever you put a link in there.
A favourite of mine is "it has a feeling of newness", and "it has a bruise and a pollution in a box, a nervous person please refrain from tender". I think I'm going to take up speaking like that full-time  So "would you please accept it?"
Rare, but not so rare, in my opinion.Originally Posted by ave
Yep, the junk thing is awesome. Love Japan.
