ANA N64? How on earth could ANA use that? It's not like they could have plugged it in to the monitor on the back of the seat in front of you. Far too many wires and what about power?
Maybe someone just stuck an ANA sticker on the console
As far as I know, it's just a promotional item?...Originally Posted by Yakumo
I think I remember seeing an ANA Gameboy somewhere in kaori30's collection? I'm not to sure, as I don't know too much about Nintendo stuff, just thought I'd throw in what I had:thumbsup:
Heh, yeah it's just a promo item AFAIK. Here's the Gameboy, I was gonna bid on it but forgot

yes, that's the set. but it is missing the rare collectors cards and some other minor stuff. cool find nevertheless, it is damn hard to get the full set.Originally Posted by pipo_lolo
thanks for sharing.
i do not question the seller, but the item. even kiwame doesnt know what they are selling here, so i suppose it is just a price check to gather some clues about its rarity.Originally Posted by Mundocombo
if it is really legit, japanese collectors will pay a very high price. one million yen? maybe!
I did a little research on this cart and there's a very interesting two pages in the "Namcot News" volume 29. Just scroll to the bottom scan:

"Family Boxing Championship 1987"
It was youtTom's, the photo was for his sale thread. I had already searched my HDD's for that image but couldn't find it anywhere.Originally Posted by HKFAN
Now I could save it again, thx for uploading. I knew there was a Gameboy Pocket in the bundle as well!
<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?
cool, thanks.Originally Posted by ave
it is about the nationwide competition, but unfortunately it doesnt mention any price or gold cartridge, only the winners of the regional taikens. :crying:
At least we now know there must have been a price for the winner of a 1987 FB championship. Given this information I'd consider the cartridge real (note it says 1987 on it as well), apart from the possibility that kiwame is selling a homemade fake.

well, the software appears to be different, so there are high chances that it's real

i can confirm that it is real now. a collectors friend showed me an old ad which list the cart as one of the prices. :nod:Originally Posted by jhonny_d
