Sorry.I thought it was "given away" to mathematics teachers...so it was sold to them :)
But it was sold by mail order, just like Go-Net for MD, right? Not in stores?
    Not anybody could buy it?

65000 is really too much, just like there is a Heim Waltz for 45000 Yens, when it barely get sold for 20000.

But for 30000,the price is nice! Congrats!

Nice price for a sealed Eyeful home indeed!
Amazing to see the difference between the price for this game and Waltz in japanese shops and the price at which they get really sold.

I think Aki was sold in bookstore like Circus Lido, there is a ISBN number at the back of the box.

Right now it's only at 1 yen. Might wind up ending low.

Yeah. I think it's pretty ugly too, but it would be worth it to grab it cheap for a collection or to resell.

That's a theory,i can't prove it,but i'm pretty sure it is what happened, otherwise why silver color on the borders of the sticker?
That was my idea too. It just doesn't look good enough to be real. Damage because of the game's rusty age shoud look different on the sticker seal.

The game was delivered sealed however by Nintendo back in those days. But it should be the same as with Darius Alpha. I'm pretty sure all copies have been opened by the winners.

I know one guy who owns a brand-new & sealed one. For me personally, it is the most rare regular PC Engine release. Cannot remember how much it was sold for last time it popped up on Yahoo though...

I saw one last year for 20000 Yens.
But it didn't even have spine card though.

You can find it in japanese shops (tokyo,Osaka) for 50000 Yens with spine card.

Well, there's English in the actual auction description. I forgot all about adding an English title though :banghead:

It's the games that are upping the price. Gauntlet in Japan sells for about 8000 yen alone :oh: Then the Golden Axe trilogy, Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Midnight Resistance and Sparkster really add value to the set. All of those games can fetch a pretty penny in Japan. The Mega Drive is basically a free gift since I have a few that I no longer need.

Exactly. Talking slight crap Ave I'm afraid. Those games are worth well more than 6k yen. Probably worth 15-20k yen if sold individually and are mint. What it sells for though is a different matter as bundles usually go cheaper than separates.

Anyway, didn't expect this to go so high! (I'm posting it up before the auction end btw...currently at 216,155)

I'd love to see that disc! Wonder what the final price is....

(I like how its a battle of the deputys. No wonder the jp collectors get so pissed at us westerners. Tbh were the situations reversed, which they are on the very odd occasion, I'd be pissed as hell!)

    Edit..WOW, 316,155 in the end!

LOL boohoo if they dont like losing the auctions then maybe they should dig deeper & pay more, if they wanted it that bad they would have stumped up the cash. In the end whoever has the most cash wins regardless of where you live.
