Now that you mention it, I actually thought it would end later as well. I just noticed it in the finished auctions-section today and felt like crying about the price.
Is there any way of ending an auction earlier than it was intended to? That would be pretty unfair.
Yes, Yahoo Auctions can be ended at anytime to the highest bidder. So the moral of the story is, if you want it then bid. If you want to whine about it, as you think bidding later will save you a few yen then it's your own fault. :P
I've bid on a few items and got an email telling me I'd won a few hours later, even though the auction wasn't due to end for several days. I also noted that any auctions that get relisted are more likely to end after you bid, or if you have won other items from the same seller. ;)
