    PS2 Debugging Station Fault...

    Hi.

I have a PS2 Debugging Station (DTL-H10000S U), and it seems to have a problem. If I load a game (any game, PS1, PS2 all regions), it starts to load the game and then the whole PS2 goes to standby. When restarted, it again starts to load and then switches to standby again. If I take the disc out, it starts and loads to the browser screen okay, it's only when I'm loading a game that it goes to standby.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem, and how to fix it? Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Dave.

Sounds a bit like a memory fault... my guess is that it's toast...

Sounds like it's overheating....When they get too hot they just switch off. Is the fan still working ok? If it is broken try putting a massive desk fan behind (just to eliminate the theory).

If it still doesn't work I suggest you throw it out of 3 storey building, film it explode on impact and post it on assemblergames.com!

    ;-)
