Theres a mega drive emulator - picodrive. Its still very much a beta, but its quite nice to play the games wherever. Theres also a NES emulator called yewnes, and a game boy emulator called goboy. none are perfect, but their all worth a play.
And i do have an n-gage, its not too bad, particularly when you buy it cheap like I did - pretty good MP3 player/radio and for the emulators and a few of the games...
The best thing on N-gage is the calculator.

"(...)A One World Government and one-unit monetary system, under permanent non-elected hereditary oligarchists who self-select from among their numbers in the form of a feudal system as it was in the Middle Ages. In this One World entity, population will be limited by restrictions on the number of children per family, diseases, wars, famines, until 1 billion people who are useful to the ruling class, in areas which will be strictly and clearly defined, remain as the total world population." Dont let media feed you with lies. open your eyes and search information yourself.
But the problem with cell phones is that they all use custom batteries which wont last indefinitely :Hangman:
Third party battery solutions will surely exist. They still make replacement batteries for the oldest Palm OS handhelds for example...Originally Posted by AntiPasta

They aren't even putting up promos in the stores that sell N-gage about the new one. I think it will sell worse than the first one.
I've already seen and used the new QD model at both Gamestop and EB. I'll have to hand it to Nokia though, this is definitely one of the most improved products I've seen in quite some time. Fixed virtually every physical hardware flaw of the original and then some.Originally Posted by assembler
They're just now getting them out, though the word on the street is that the new model is being delayed until late July.
"some" probably refers to the removal of the FM and MP3 functionality? :Hangman:Originally Posted by SuperGrafx
Yeah, i'm sure i remember reading that they've removed the MP3 player. Don't know about the radio tho?
yup, No MP3 Player or Radio in the N-gage QD. They're both quite nice features on the standard one though, and they even provide an adaptor to allow you to plug in standard headphones, so it seems a bit silly to take them out of the new version...i guess it doesnt fit in with the game playing device marketting they've been doing. I think the N-gage may have sold better if it was advertised as an MP3 player, Radio, Video player and games player.
Also, the QD would have been nicer if they put the screen from the 6600 in it....its the same size but its 65536 colours and a bit brighter...the n-gage's have 4096 colour screens, and they look alright, but the 6600's really is the best colour screen i've seen on a mobile yet.
So, there's no way to use a headphone on the new QD then?

No idea what comes with the QD though im afraid, as i dont have one. My point was simply that the n-gage makes as good mp3 player as the ones which plug straight into the usb ports (the ones which are basically thumb-drives but with mp3 function)...sorry if i caused any confusion though.
Must have games.... There arent that many to chose from in the first place!!
Not all Ngage games work on the other Symbian phones like the 6600, games like Tomb Raider, Pandemonium (3D games) wont work AFAIK.
Most people think of the Ngage as a gaming console, I see it as a very good cellphone with some gaming enhancements.
There is only one thing I really hate about the Ngage, the short battery life.
To me the Ngage is a Nokia 3650 with a different body and some extra features, except my 3650 battery lasts about a week and the Ngage only lasts about 2 days.
About the QD, you should still be able to hear mp3 on it because there are a few software MP3 players for Symbian phones, but the playback quality might not be as good as the one in the original Ngage.
Pandemonium works fineOriginally Posted by Codeman1
