Absolutely shocking. TBH, I made it to about 3mins and gave up. The load screen with the foxy lass was ok, but the one with the topless meathead was too much.
And people have the cheek to complain about NeoCD load times, a 10yr old 1st gen CD machine.

The ps2 version is pretty damn bad with loading also...
I gave up on The Sims 2 (borrowed it off the boss before anyone asks) as there is litterally a 3 second load pause for doing *anything* in the game:
*Walk up to item get "examine" prompt*
*Press X*
*Wait 3 seconds*
*Character raises hand to chin looking "thoughtful"*
*Press X to cancel looking at item*
*Wait 3 seconds*
*Character lowers hand*
Etc etc etc

I personally wouldn't even buy this game. It looks like a straight port of the ps2 version, which was a decent game...except that the psp should be about more than damn ports. There's a reason games like these have career modes and shit on the console version. Portable gaming shouldn't be about playing the same games you can at home.
I don't see why you'd want anything more than a bunch of wrestlers and a nice 10-15 minute distraction session with this game on the psp.

...and the worst part is, in the end, after all the loading ends, you get to play a Wrestling game.

This more has to do with shit coders vs anything else. Daxter demo for psp loads up almost instantly and imo is one of the best looking games for psp.
yeah, like I said...the loading on the ps2 is pretty shitty too...
it has the same exact loading spots, except I'd say it takes about 3 minutes to get to a career match.
What the hell is it loading half the time? Bloody awful that !

this is worse than shadow the hedgehog's and sonic r's load times COMBINED.
That is quite horrible. I thought load times of 1-2 minutes where bad, this is just crazy. No wonder why the PSP's battery doesn't last that long, games load time eat it up like candy.

Well DS has some ports too (ex: Mario64DS) but then is still a good game. The problem with PSP is that most ports come from already bad (and cheap) PSX and PS2 games, and that kinda ruins the whole "I've a portable PS2" experience...
I think they should port the best PS2 games out there, like SotC, GoW, Jak2, all the DMCs, etc...
Bad ports, good ports, Bad ports of good games, Good ports of good games, I dont care. If sony want me to buy a psp, then they'll need to stay away from these things. I dont want to play Tekken, DMC, Or even metal gear on a psp. Sony doesnt understand that at all.
