    Anyone Driven Past Buncefield Lately?

I was just wondering how many of the UK residents either live near or have driven past the burning oil refinery in the last 2 days? I did and got some amateur footage but it was not very good, but the place was still exploding at about 10:30pm when I passed (had been exploding since 6:00am that morning)

This incident, I believe will greatly affect the cost of fuel/plane flights in the UK :(

Also, if you listen to the news, peoples stories are flawed... For example, one of the truck drivers caught in the beginning said 'some other truckers noticed some gas leaking and reported it to the gatehouse security guard, who shut off all the electricity and sounded the alarms, ordering evacuation... On our way out it exploded and threw us off our feet.'

The gatehouse security guards statement: 'I was sitting in the gatehouse reading my paper and all of a sudden the explosion blew the gatehouse apart and threw me to the floor.'

    - But I thought he sounded the alarms? Maybe trying to save his own skin cos he forgot something he shouldve done? I dunno.

missinformation is worse than terror. I believe it was a terrorist action.

Pff terrorists arent that clever... I used to deliver to that place I doubt anyone could get in without a huge amount of credibility.

My personal theory is it was an insurance job... I mean, c'mon, what were the chances it'd have blown up at 6AM on a Sunday, when the staff were on a skeleton crew too. Payout time lol.

Terrorists can navigate countries with fake passports, so they definatly have the ability.

Yeah but theyre usually more lucky than clever... they never actually meant to knock those towers down, just cause a fire...
I think theyve ruled out terrorism by now anyway

Why? Because the government tells you everything? (though i think this is why we generally avoid politics). Im going to stop, just to let the thread continue on.

The blaze is definatly crazy, no matter what caused it.
