    PS2 Wasp game?

Hi I'm looking for the name of a game that was going to be released on the PS2. I read about it about 2 years ago possibly in the Official PS2 magazine (it was a canned games article). All I know is that you took the role of a wasp and flew around a house. Strange game but I enjoyed weird dreams (amiga) :icon_bigg I'll carry on searching if I find any screens I'll post them.

Actually, i think you're right. As far as i can remember, it was supposed to be brought over here early in the ps2's cycle, but was then canceled. Then Eidos decided to try the American market with a couple of Japanese games, which they called the "Fresh Games" line. There were 4 of them, Mr. Mosqueto, R-Type Final, Mad Mestro, and Legia (I don't think i spelled that last one right). They were budget titles, $20, and they were a limited printing. Unfortunately they sold like crap, and Eidos decided not to bring any more over. Some of these titles are considered rare in some parts of the country, in others, you can buy them for $7 new. So, yeah, i think you're right. I think it was canceled then brought over anyway.

So, Mr.Mosquito was released in america, then? Never knew that. I need to find it now, to complete my collection of japanese/bizarre/old-school ps2 games.

I never heard of Barnabee. What developer was developing this? (Smart Dog?)

Mr. Mosquito is pretty tough to find. Mad Maestro, however, was released at the same time and for some reason either got a second printing or is just becoming much less wanted - all the gamestores in my area have at least 3 copies of Mad Maestro each.

R-Type Final was printed much later than Legend of Legia, Mr. Mosquito, and Mad Maestro - it came out in fall of 2004, I think. You can still find copies used for $14 or so, but it seems like one of those games that could slowly become VERY hard to find. But there's no reason why everyone shouldn't have a copy of it by now, anyways. If you don't have one, then change that, pronto.
