Yeesh, that must be a record low for brand new releases in Japan.

Are you referring to titles or units? If there were an unusually large number of units, then the $$ spent on these titles would be spread out more, making the top 5 look lower. Just my two yen worth.

I'm going to pick up Mario vs. Donkey KOng this week.

Units. I know Japans numbers have a lower standard these days but yeesh,I saw a demo of mario vs donkey kong running on game cube, it looks pretty good. But the reviews so far have been ok about it.
