pool7: I love your Elminster avatar, cause I have a very soft spot for the AD&D game, since that period had AWESOME paintings, and drawings :) heck it is no wonder why I still love to this day quite a few AD&D (Advanced Dungeons and Dragons aka. second generation rules) computer games on different platforms :) Also I still have quite a few Spellfire cards :) and yes I am aware of the origin of the word Spellfire too. Shandril is the lady who has that ability :)

I have to be honest and say I have only read the first 3 books of the Elminster series (though I have all of them) and I started several times The Avatar Trilogy, but always got interrupted at some point and had to stop due to lack of time... I hope I find some time soon to keep on reading these series. As for AD&D games, other than playing the RPG itself with friends, I have yet to play any of the AD&D based computer games, though I have most of them as well... bloody lack of time!
