Did you play all of them, or play 3 plus more videos?

Well, to be fair King Kong is a rush port from the xbox, and kameo was originally goign to be an xbox game. If you want a good look at it check out Project Gotham Racing 3, Call of Duty 2 or NBA2k6 ...

Yeah I was dissapointed when I finally saw an xbox 360 demo pod.
Only King Kong and Call of Duty 2 were playable.

Damn nice looking machine though! i was also impressed with the pad.

To be fair, the original Xbox demo pods back in 2001 only had 1 playable game initially (I know cuz I have that first demo disc)...that short demo level of Oddworld. Everything else was movies until just before launch date when an updated demo disc was sent for the kiosks.

true but oddworld wasnt a bad game to demo. This im guessing had alot to do with rushing, since call of duty and and king kong seemed to pretty much have most of their work done, it probably didnt take much time away to do a demo. Still does anyone know if it does take a bit of time out of development to make a demo for a game?

i think he's talking about the essence of the games. Remove the Updated graphics, and there's no reason why those tittles couldn't be on xbox, technically and spiritually.

"(...)A One World Government and one-unit monetary system, under permanent non-elected hereditary oligarchists who self-select from among their numbers in the form of a feudal system as it was in the Middle Ages. In this One World entity, population will be limited by restrictions on the number of children per family, diseases, wars, famines, until 1 billion people who are useful to the ruling class, in areas which will be strictly and clearly defined, remain as the total world population." Dont let media feed you with lies. open your eyes and search information yourself.

'Proper' demo's take lots of time.

...Proportionally they can take more time than building the whole game!

This is due to certification, which is the same as the final game, and other issues such as how the demo functions, i.e can the game be terminated to return to dash to select another demo? etc, etc (if you consider that a 'normal' game will usually just play until you turn it off).

Especially if you're making your own damn tools.

I still haven't played the thing but I just saw one live for the first time at EB, it was a demo unit but it only had one playable demo, which I didn't even play, I just watched movies.

I wasn't terribly impressed, although it might have been the display. Everything looked a bit grainy.

Elder Scrolls looks like it'd be pretty if it was in proper HD and wasn't jerky (like the movie was).
