    Almost reminds me of Q3 on the Dreamcast / SEGANET days.
    Sadly I can't weild a DC contorller like I used to. (I have been tainted by dual thumbsticks!)

    thats a very cool port imo, the fact that you can play together with people sitting in front of a pc is great :)

    Nice idea, XBOX users will be able to play against PC users as already it is possible with the Dreamcast version. It seems the Quake 3 XBOX port uses the last point release 1.32 so network/internet play between Dreamcast-XBOX-PC would not be possible (to play against DC users with a PC a version prior to 1.17 is needed).

    sorry for that offtopic but a doom 3 homeport isnt too far away in content from a quake 3 homebrew but sorry if i was so wrong :shrug:

    Doom 3 was released a while back, and the expansion a month or two ago.

    Got to sit down and play Q3 on Xbox the other day, and i must say i got pwned by the PCers lol.

    There's a massive difference m8!!!

    ...Q3 source has been legally released for anyone to use.

    for me the equal factor was both where made by id software =)

    anyways kinda nice to see something different then the 5millionst version of doom 1 running on a pocketcalculater
