The Pods look good at first but arent funtionally good.

You can't touch the PSP and the TV display is very poor - it's worse than the PSP itself....badly done in my opionion.....seems crazy

Haha you got pics of them. I was gonna take some the week before the psp came out but i couldnt be bothered as they are really lame.

Best bit about it? I saw one get opened up!

So you look at the display and you wonder whats running the tv screen (if its a psp with some sort of special cable to hook up to the tv....)

No its a standard PS2 running some dvd... Overall its all abit crap.

they havent seemed to have any here where you can test play, though im guessing thats due to a rushed launch and the fact that they dont want anyone to steal them, plus if youve ever seen demo units in the U.S., youd be shocked to find one that doesnt have some sorta major damage to screen if its a protable or controler if its a console.

Display is crap?? Err, what? It is VGA!!!!! There is a slimline PS2 in the back, playing a demo disc... with a VGA adapter! From Sony!

Oh, and Sony were at least a week late getting them out.

Had to leave, or I would've taken some pics of it on (DECENT shots ;) ) and some of the VGA box.

Yep the one i saw had pretty bad quality display. If its using a lcd screen then maybe thats the problem.

LCDs are ok now, ya know! ;) Like I say, AFAIK it is a PC VGA monitor... which is going to give a nice picture compared to a composite LCD TV.

I'll get some rear shots next week.

Yeah, took another look today, and some of the shots were a bit fuzzy. We're going to take a look and see if we can tweak it ;)

Here's a rather disappointing shot of the LCD screen playing the demo
