Net Yaroze production numbers

Hey all, have there ever been any production numbers released for the yaroze in the various territories? I originally bought mine because I assumed it would be pretty rare and possibly valuable. I have pretty much given up on it being valuable as the average joe has no idea what it is, and the people in the know ( the development community ) view it as a crippled debugging station and pretty much wrote it off as soon as it was released. Still I think it is a cool system and I would be interested in knowing how many Sony actually made.

I only got mine since it was being offered very cheap - 3000+ yen and missing docs...
otherwise wouldn't have picked up since I already have green debug as well as launch JPN PS w/ S-video output...

for the production number no idea but don't think it was in any high numbers since it was mainly for Japan and Europe...
