But i already have a famicom color gba (^_^)
I fancy one with a proper backlit screen so it dosent wash out all the colours like the sp does. (I already have a ds before you suggest i play my gba games on that)
Or why not just stop being a sucker and save your self from buying the same console 10 times....

I may well be buying one - perhpas not on launch, but at some point.
How can people on this forum criticise for buying hardware which plays games available on other systems, when many people have dev hardware/beta's/gd-r's etc. or general equipment which they cannot (due to lack of knowledge) use at all?
If you criticise people for buying hardware that plays software they already have, then you should also be criticising people who:
-Own more than one computer (they all do the same thing, right?)
-Own Anything they cannot use (be it Dev hardware, software for consoles they don't have, or unreleased hardware with no software)
What's that Myamoto signed Nintendo DS ? Never saw this LE before.
Its a sticker he has placed on his ds. Decal kits look horrible on handhelds.
I'll buy one when they're 30 bucks.

Stuff like that shouldn't be a problem since the screen resolution is exactly the same as a GBA, just with smaller pixels. I don't even see any reason why text would be hard to read, as long as your eyes are good, of course.Originally Posted by Jasonkhowell
Yep, same here. Actually, I'll probably wait for $20. Shouldn't be too long even.Originally Posted by Blur2040

It depends on the game. Games with large text wouldn't be a problem, but games that try to cram as much text as possible on the screen with a small text format will look..bleh. Like I said, i'm sure many of the games should be OK, but I do think some of the games will have distortion.Originally Posted by Sweater Fish Deluxe

Na is not mine. Im not stupid as to buy one in launch, Ill maybe, MAYBE wait till it goes down to 30 or 20$ in the bins.
And yeah, that DS is signed by miyamoto, this guy is from a big games site, so i wont be surprised if nintendo send him the micro, 4 free.
I had to admit it: this is the first case of PWNAGE Ive seen since im hereOriginally Posted by the_steadster
Kudos dude, but u have to admit that the micro is a mainstream piece of hardware, when the devkits are what you would call rare
Maybe i should get another GBA SP, since that would make my pokemon games happy with transferring the creatures and bla bla bla :)

One good thing this might do is drop the price of the regular GBA, and GBA SP down further. A used GBASP costs $60, I'm hoping it drops down less than $50 and the regular GBA from $30 to $20 as well as the GBC, and GBPockets down further in $10range.
