BAD NEWS people, specially for Halo fans

Fox and Universal have secured the rights to the Halo movie, after M$ droped any demands to have control over the script and the movie. In other words, expect a complete piece-o-crap since they are hiring the guy from "28 days later..." to completely ReWrite the original script, and the director has yet to be choosen.

What gets M$ for selling their souls? just 5MUSD and 10% of the gross profit. What a downer, since they signed an agreement releasing any powers over the halo movie, thus being completely incapable to do any claims on the production.

And, as if it couldnt be worst, Halo3 may be delayed to 2007 so it would be released at the same time that the movie to optimize marketing potential.
