Rez and Gitaroo Man are moderately rare, if that. They're *expensive*, yes. But I've owned many copies of each, and I remember the days when Rez was stacked 5 deep at Circuit City brand new right when it came out (glad I bought it then, right?).

DDR Disney and Valkyrie: again, both expensive, but not even in the ballpark of the rarest PSX title. These games have literally sold 5-10x more copies than the true rarities on the PSX (which can often be had for under 10 bucks!).

Worst of all, GTA:SA being rare? Are you kidding? They sold *5.1 million* copies of that game. It doesn't matter how many they recall, there will still be more copies of SA than nearly any other game released in this generation.

speaking or rez, does the us dc version actually exists? if it does, then it must be damn rare, or maybe i'm just unlucky.

"(...)A One World Government and one-unit monetary system, under permanent non-elected hereditary oligarchists who self-select from among their numbers in the form of a feudal system as it was in the Middle Ages. In this One World entity, population will be limited by restrictions on the number of children per family, diseases, wars, famines, until 1 billion people who are useful to the ruling class, in areas which will be strictly and clearly defined, remain as the total world population." Dont let media feed you with lies. open your eyes and search information yourself.

It was never released in the US for the DC.

And the PAL DC version isn't common either.

But the PAL PS2 version used to be EVERYWHERE for 10 euros. kekekeke.
MvC2 on the other hand is already going in excess of 50e in France and Holland.

eBay may not be good indicator of what's "rare", but it CERTAINLY IS a good indicator of the games people actually want! I think "sought after" is a more appropriate term than "rare" in most cases; it implies the price has more to do with the demand than the supply (although low supply helps :P). For instance any number of things, such as North America (or PAL too I suppose) Panzer Dragoon Saga, is sought after, but I wouldn't call these things rare since you can pretty much get a copy any time you want if you're willing to pay the price for it. "Rare" should be reserved for things that REALLY ARE hard just simply to find, whether online or in the wild.

If you're incredibly lucky, there can be something fairly rare from time to time. I wouldn't go in expecting to find anything, though, as you'll just disappoint yourself. It's much more of a "right place, right time" sort of thing.
