It might, for some examples, be easier for you to visit http://www.oldengineer.com/

...I have every hardware and software release available, to list would take a long time and not mean much I fear :)

Have you thought about what it is exactly that you want to know?

If come back with a specific question we maybe able to help.

...Purely asking for an 'endless' / 'meaningless' list helps neither you nor anyone imo.

i search all reference of kits for Xbox like we made with PS2.
I watched your site and didn't find any reference of the devkits or debug units or softwares
do you have a link or something like that?

Ever hear of google or yahoo and spend some time researching yourself. better understanding comes from learning through research not just always one source. I can understand getting stuck on a subject and needing help but every dev kit seems you neeed a list on. There are some good sites out their that show you differnt equipment and have explainations Old Engineers site is one, Shiggys and LINGR are two others.

maybe he has problems to ask a exact question cause hes not a natural english speaker / writer like many others of us?

    xbox dev hmm
    xbox alpha 1 (pc tower)
xbox alpha 2 (pc tower) both towers are a little rare and dont present the full speed but i think they are the most interesting units cause they are very very pc near (if you can say that about a pentium powered windows driven game console =)
    devt 1
    devt 2
devt 3 most common unit these days sold on ebay every few weeks now should be in a green plastic case looking like a special edition xbox
devt 4 clear crystal case was the newest which i saw for sale but there could be a folow up with some minor changes ?

...I think you mean DVT rather than devt, also DVT1 = Alpha 1, DVT2 = Alpha 2, etc, etc...

...Of interest Alpha 2's run some things 'faster' and some things 'slower' (emulate) than Final hardware making them very, very accurate Dev machines.

DVT3 is the clear Dev Kit, not a green Debug Kit

...And DVT4 is what 99.9999999% of the green Debug Kit's are.

DVT4 = Final retail stage / Ver 1.0 Mobo 'style'

DVT4 is the oldest DVT supported by MS for Development.

...Should of course added that DVT3 was the Beta stage clear Dev Kits and that current clear Dev Kits are 99.999999999% DVT4 :)
