    what?
"(...)A One World Government and one-unit monetary system, under permanent non-elected hereditary oligarchists who self-select from among their numbers in the form of a feudal system as it was in the Middle Ages. In this One World entity, population will be limited by restrictions on the number of children per family, diseases, wars, famines, until 1 billion people who are useful to the ruling class, in areas which will be strictly and clearly defined, remain as the total world population." Dont let media feed you with lies. open your eyes and search information yourself.

I guess I like it Dubbed. Sometimes voiced change and its SOOOOO annoying, though.

    Example
Evangelion series Kiel= Old man voice that matches
Evangelion movie Kiel= Big black guy voice. WTF?

Dubbed is good, as long as its done right (I don't care about the voice, as long as it has some emotion and not just a carbon-copy voice). Subbed, for those who don't know Japanese, is pretty good (although there are many sub jobs that are done badly).

In the end, Dub is good when done right, but otherwise Sub.

    Subbed.
Sometimes the dubs change the context of the spoken text a bit too much for my liking (ie: Mezzo)

I dunno, the "Here's your change!" line from Evangelion was hilarious, but not the original meaning (which wasnt as funny, imo.).

Most of the time I prefer subs for the above mentioned reasons, but their are some cases where I feel the dub fits better (ex: Slayers, Spirited Away, Tenchi Muyo, etc.)

    Subbed, of course.

Hell, I'll watch it without subs before I ever watch dubbed anime.

I've watched lots dubbed in Spanish, though, and it's better than English dubs, because, generally, it's not that censored like american versions are.

You know what's a crime, though?
    Dubbing songs. That's gotta end.

Reason enough to watch the series in English right there. :smt043

Subtitles are sortof the status quo for me, mainly because the majority of things I've watched aren't available any other way. But don't get too caught up in the sub-vs.-dub thing, especially if you watch a lot of internet fansubs - a lot of their translations aren't much better than the dubs everyone vilifies, and sometimes the original Japanese and what a fan translator puts out are almost totally different in meaning. The whole, "original context of the words is kept in subs" argument only goes so far.

That said, the quality of professional dubbing has been getting a lot better lately. I recently watched the US DVDs of Appleseed, Tsukihime vol. 1, and Voices Of A Distant star, and I don't think I cringed once at bad voiceacting.

Subbed of course, you wouldn't watch star wars dubbed into russian would you?

Dubbing destroys the original creative work.period.

Dubbing is for who can't read at a proficient level.
    That's just the brutal truth.

It panders to peopel who can't read for shit, and the one sentence that shows up on the bottom of the screen every few seconds is more than they can handle.

Most people who watch dub have never picked up anything more indepth than a comic book or something they were forced to read in an education setting.

Subtitled, unless it's by Manga Video. If this is the case, the subbed version probably sucked to start with and the dub is intentionally or unintentionally hilarious. RE: Violence Jack, Angel Cop, Mad Bull 34, even Macross II The Movie had its moments dubbed.
