So last night I was pondering what I should do with my new xbox. I ran through all the normal possibilities but then I started thinking about the new slim PS2. I've wanted one of those little guys ever since they came out. So right now I'm leaning towards trading my xbox for a slim PS2. What do you guys think I should do with the Xbox. If you agree with my idea, where do you think I could trade it for a slim PS2?

Couldn't disagree more, The PS2's game library is in a completely different league to the Xbox's.
exactly, I'd take the PS2 over Xbox any day, but you might want to look into the laser mod thingie, I forgot how exactly it is called.
bought me a debug ps2 only for final fantasy x and x2 and gt4 =)
wouldnt trade my xbox in for it, i like the halo series too much =)
You'd probably just end up trading it to EB or Gamestop...(which funnily enough are one in the same now) ,they'll give you pennies for it, and you'll end up regretting it, saying "Gee, I miss those great Xbox games," BLAM! You go out and buy another Xbox. Don't do it.

I heard the slimlines suck ass. I'd just go for the regular version. I got my ps2 for $40 off ebay and fixed it easily. I'd look on ebay to see if any slimlines are cheap if you really want one I guess. I think trading in consoles is dumb since stores like EB Games rip you off royally.

But I don't know how to solder and the one person I know that does know how to solder, well..... I wouldn't let him mess with my xbox.
there are solderless adapters out but i dunno about the quality but if you arent shaking your xbox they should hold pretty good
Do what I did. Buy an Action Replay, download a softmod package, and softmod it :). Since you have two Xboxs, you can use one for Live and the other for pretty much everything.

...If you really feel that you have to go down that road, don't chip it, softmod it, it's far better, specially if you use 'Krayzies' installer and you keep your Xbox intact ;)
