I saw a car go up in flames just last week. WTF? How do cars just catch on fire.

it doesn't happen to often but when it dow usually someone is being very stupid and storing gas can inside the car. it happens once a monthing in atlanta. Some work crew van will just catch fire because one of the illegals in the back will be smoking with the lawn mowers and such.

when i was about 11 years old I and my fater drived through zurich when suddenly our car starts burning in the front, where the motor is placed! the brake didn't work anymore, so my father decided to interupt the power by pulling out the key and used the handbrake to slow down the speed as much as possible. we was in the center of zurich and there was a big iland in the middle of a big traffic corner where a big truck (for street asphalting) was parked in the middle of this iland. so he decided to drive into this truck to stop the car as fast as possible so we could escape. so we hit that truck with a speed of about 20~30 km/h may be and finally could escape! the fire brigade took care about the rest of the wrack!

last but not least our car was a Renault Fuego. fuego is spanish and means fire  just a too hot car it was!

Wow, interesting story there, Tatsujin. It reminds me of my mate telling me about when his Land Cruiser's brakes failed. I don't know if you know about this or not, 3 years or so ago Mitsubishi had some really bad problems with the electrical systems on their cars. This is what caused his brakes to fail. Anyway, to stop the car he stupidly tried to slam it in to reverse which basically smashed the gear box. So then he used the handbrake and drove the car against the crash barrier to slow it down (They were on the motorway at the time). Needless to say the car was a wreck down one side .

Well, my life in the car is definitely not interesting then. I drive like an old lady. It's the other fucks surrounding me that suck.

You know, those are one thing I like about Missouri in the Summer time. Those things can make the most racket when you least want it, but I don't care most of the time. I liked picking up the skin they shed when I was a kid.
Go back to your village, they miss their idiot.

A friend of mine (Japanese, in Japan actually) said that they only live for one week once they come up from the ground. Sounds like some goofy ass Japanese folklore (aka: bullshit) but I've been too lazy to look it up.

no, i think it is true so far. i already ask about a dozen people or more now and everybody replied the same. ok, may be not exactly one week to the clock, but around that span of time. anyway i can say, that the dying of those semi is incredible. the period in where they appear is short and in the middle or end of september their corpses lying around almost eververy you just can image.

That leaf camoflauge doesn't work so well on man-made objects, does it?

well, it sort of did at first. I thought it was a leaf stuck to the mesh. It wasn't until I got closer did I notice what it was.

yes. japan has a lot of those overground power lines, since they always would cut off in the ground by earthquakes. i wonder how they manage to supplie the gas in the underground pipes. i rarely heard about any broken gas pipes by earthquakes. but sure it happens by strong ones before.

More people died in the Great Kanto Earthquake byfires caused from such pipes than in the initial melee alone.
