    What is the difference Between a SHVC and a SNES Emulator

    Anyone know the dififfernce between a SUPER NINTENDO CG SHVC IS-SOUND DEV and a SNES Emulator both look very close.

    They look the same but I think SNES Emulator is IS-DEBUGGER, while IS-SOUND is well just a SPC700 emulator. The IS-SOUND on eBay has a IS-DEBUGGER sticker on it though. Perhaps IS-SOUND and DEBUGGER are both inside the unit or maybe it's just mislabeled? IS appears to do that quite often.

    I am currious about that as well. The guy links to a site showing info about the IS-Sound he has and the website list that it does more things (like fx chip) that the is-debuger doesn't.

    IS-DEBUGGER/CHARACTER software was on Bidders.jp, I don't think anyone bid :\

    I believe they were ~$32 for each 5¼" disk

    They went over a month ago, and were on Bidders, not YJ. Also of course they're for PC-98 so that presents more problems using them ;)
