Glitch hiccup

I'll admit it up front, this was rather stupid of me to start with.

I started to do a glitch work up on a friend's 360. Dumped the NAND, flashed the resulting ecc file and the chip I was using didn't work. He disappeared into the woods for 3 months and now he has given me a fancy new Coolrunner RevC to install.

Thing is I can't find the original NAND dump and I don't remember if I was using RGH1 or RGH2.

My question: is it possible to simply dump the NAND as it stands and run it through the requisite tools to generate a new ecc file to reflash? Or should I go back to scouring my storage for a rogue binary file and/or flash the proper timings and see what Xell bites?

are you flashing your coolrunner chips? or just soldering them in without touching them?

A fancy new coolrunner rev c...? Just flash the coolrunner , solder wires to coolrunner in place of the other chip and you should be good to go. No need to read nand and write ecc if everything is already done.

RGH1 wiring diagram is different from RGH2 diagram so it should be easy to tell the difference , One thing never to do is LOSE THE NAND DUMP! Use a Donor nand if needed and start from there ;)

This has to be a Phat console correct? Since slims are all RGH2 as is , even though it says RGH in jrunner does not mean shit.

I flash them myself using the PassMe JTAG diagrams.

I realize the wiring is different but there was nothing wired inside the 360 for the better part of 3 months. If using a donor NAND is possible to get it running I may have to give it a shot.

This is in fact a Falcon IIRC. Either that or a Jasper. I may have played with RGH2 for kicks but I'm 80% sure it was RGH1.

i think your better off staying with rgh1. from expirence falcon and jaspers are utter cunts(seriously thats how bad they are ive had to use that word) usualy ending up in flashing them multiple times and soldering them multiple ways before they even attempt to glitch, are you using normal wire or the sheilded cable?​

Just make sure the coolrunner is flashed with the proper timings for your mobo type. If you already wrote the ECC you should be good. You're using RGH1.

Got a little further along here. Turns out I had flashed the coolrunner with Falcon timings when I needed Jasper. I've gotten the CPU key but the NAND I've dumped from the 360 cannot be used, drum roll please, due to missing bootloader info.

Guess I'll be looking for a tutorial on this one.

The way i used a donor (banned) nand was to open the donor with its cpukey in 360 flash tools 0.97 goto "patch" at the bottom and tick the resign to cpu key and put the consoles cpukey you want a donor for, this will repack \ reencrypt it to the cpukey of the console you want it for.

p.s. you can use ANY v2 kv donor nand with the process above then use jrunner put nand + key in, select you want a retail nand making + version, and select the nand type you want it for (under read nand) and it will convert it to that type when you build it.
