    N64 CartB01 Everdrive 64 displaying incorrect colors

I just received the Everdrive 64 today and after loading up some ROMs to test it out I quickly noticed that none of the colors were being displayed correctly. Everything has a blue/green tint to it and things that are supposed to be red aren't. I've tested other games on the N64 and tested the ROMs on multiple machines and they work fine. Something with the Everdrive is making them look weird. I would greatly appreciate any insight or help with this. Thanks in advance!

NTSC and I'm using an RGB cable. The Everdrive is the NTSC Deluxe Edition and the cable works fine when plugged in the SNES and it works fine in the N64 when a retail cart is inserted.

Does your N64 show normal color with regular cart inserted? If so, something is off with your ED64. If normal 64 carts has wrong color, you got something hooked wrong somehow and not ED64 problem.

Since you have ruled out my guess as to the problem, my suggestion is to PM Krikzz about this. He is a member here and the creator of the Everdrive series. I'm of no more help since my N64 is connected by composite and functions fine with my ED64. I will suggest to try a composite cable. There may be a slight chance that the ED64 has issues with RGB on a NTSC system. After all, RGB was only used in PAL region stuff at the time of the N64 life. Not saying this is it but just a suggestion to rule out all possibilities. It is possible the ROMs are a bit corrupted. Not enough to cause issues in say a PC emulator but will be troublesome on the real hardware. I got my games from a good site for ROMs and have no issues with most of them. If everything checks out, there is a chance that your ED64 is bad and will need to be serviced or replaced. Again, not saying these are the problems but are good areas to start with in tracking the issue down. Krikzz should be more helpful than I will be.

Impossible to change some colors in game from the cart side, so problem not in ED64. Cart does not display graphics, it only mounts game image on n64 cart bus. May be you trying to play pal games on ntsc machine, or your rom is modified. Would be good if you will show some screenshots

I'd suggest removing that link, it goes against the rules.

Fixed it. Turns out there was a short in the RGB cable. But everything works perfectly fine now.

Strange how it only manifested itself with the Everdrive and no other games.
