Jailbar effect with PC ENgine / TurboGrafx Mod

A few years ago I bought a PCE which came pre-modded for RGB/Scart. I was kinda disappointed and sold it immediately due to the fact that it had a jailbar effect - vertical 'white' bars every couple of inches. Is this normal or there are better mods to do get RGB on PCE?

I've seen "hum bars" on TG16s before but not any jail bars. Would it be possible for you to post a picture of this?

Sorry I dont have it any more. Imagine vertical white line every inch or so on the TV (tried on various TVs same thing). The PCE didn't have the RGB booster mod though, just RGB.
