I have an late-gen Action Replay disc for PlayStation that's blue on the back. Is that common for those kinds of discs?
I have seen blue bottomed PAL PS1 discs before when I worked in a game shop many moons ago. Like Bad-Ad84 said its just a normal version of the game that happens to be on a blue disc. Wouldn't say its rare as in valuable but its a nice variant to own if you collect Tekken stuff. Much like the Pink disc variant of Sega Rally 2 on the Dreamcast no difference in game with the 'normal' one but nice to have regardless.
I see what you mean i was not really intrested in the value too much i just wanted to know these things i am more after info of stuff usually if i cant find a answer via google i post here
there is a few GT stores around Sydney i went to get some saturn games cleaned last week not sure how many there is i know there is at least 5 :)
Most AR and GS discs were either black or blue bottom, in many cases depending on the version; however I would discard them in situations like this, since they were not manufactured by Sony (so they're not official).
From what I read some time ago somewhere (sorry, I don't remember where and don't have the time to look for now), Sony produced (for the PS1) black, blue and silver bottom discs. Most were black. Silver was used at the end of the PS1 life, and IIRC only in Japan, though I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure the blue bottom disc's weren't used as much because the laser had trouble reading them. Same went for ps2 games with blue bottoms.
