guys i think i ca fix my dtp but can any 1 help me i already have linux i just needhelp doing all of this
- 1. Boot dstdb, dspcons, and dsxfilesv in the Hardware Tool.
-
- Boot dsxfilesv in the /usr/local/psp/devkit/flash/ directory so that
- the kernel update file psp_XXX.arc in devkit/flash can be referred to
- (for example, prompt>> dsxfilesv -i -sc -d XX.XX.XX.XX).
-
- 2. Execute the following commands on dstdb.
-
- When the message "*** No Connect" appears on start-up of dstdb,
- hit the "Enter" key. The same message may appear on start-up of dstdb
- after rebooting the Hardware Tool.
-
- dstdb > bloadp /usr/local/psp/devkit/flash/dformati.bin
- dstdb > reset
-
- The progress will be shown in text (.) on dspcons.
- When the message "Finish Physical Format" appears, the process is
- finished.
- (Note) "Physical Formatting (0.8.0 - version)" message will be
- displayed.
- Since the version shown in this message is that for the format
- style, this message is normal.
-
- 3. Execute the following commands on dstdb.
- dstdb > bloadp /usr/local/psp/devkit/flash/formati.bin
- dstdb > reset
-
- The progress will be shown in text (.) on dspcons.
- When the message "Finish Logical Format" appears, the process is
- finished.
-
- 4. Execute the following commands on dstdb.
- dstdb > bloadp /usr/local/psp/devkit/flash/writei_sys.bin
- dstdb > reset
-
- The progress will be shown in text (#) on dspcons.
- When the message "Finish Flash Write" appears, the process is
- finished.
- (Note1) Boot dsxfilesv with /usr/local/psp/devkit/flash.
- (Note2) Please allow 5 to 10 minutes for the process to be finished.
-
- 5. To check if the PSP system has been updated properly, execute the
- following commands on dstdb.
-
- dstdb > bloadp /usr/local/psp/devkit/bin/kbooti.bin
- dstdb > reset
-
- If the message "Loading all modules ... Ready" appears on dspcons,
- the system is properly booted.
-
- 6. For initializing the setting files, go through with
- the following 2 steps.
-
- 6-1. Execute devkit/kmodule/rinit.prx.
- devkit/kmodule/rinit.prx.
- dstdb > bloadp /usr/local/psp/devkit/bin/kbooti.bin
- dstdb > reset
- dstdb > mstart /usr/local/psp/devkit/kmodule/rinit.prx
-
- The progress will be shown in text (.) on dspcons.
- When the message "done." appears on dspcons, the process is completed.
-
- (Note) mstart should not be run before the message
- "Loading all modules ... Ready" appears on dspcons.
-
- 6-2. Start the PSP system software.
- dstdb > bloadp /usr/local/psp/devkit/bin/kbooti.bin
- dstdb > reset 20000000
-
- When it starts, a message for initialization of language setting etc.
- appears. Please set them appropriately.
-
- # Select "Japanese" from the bottom for the System Language and
- "GMT+09:00 Tokyo" for the Time Zone.
- # Also, the eks button is initially set as "Enter".
- # This can be changed at the "Circle button behavior"
- to set the circle as "Enter".
-
- 7. Start debugger for normal application program development.
- Execute samples and the like, to verify the operation of the Hardware
- Tool.
- dstdb > bloadp /usr/local/psp/devkit/bin/kbooti.bin
- dstdb > reset 00000000

- [ Cautions About Update ]
- 1. When the "system init" button on the front of the Hardware Tool is
- pressed, the Hardware Tool returns to its initial setting.
- Therefore, the Hardware Tool returns to the state where no Hardware
- Tool update is made.
- In such a case, there is a possibility that features such as dstdb
- cannot be used anymore. Please start over again from the Hardware
- Tool update.
- For information on the system init button, see the Hardware Tool
- instruction manual.
-
- (Note) The "system init" button initializes the contents of the
- Hardware Tool update, but not the contents of the PSP kernel update.
-
- 2. If a process for interrupting a process (for example, turning off
- the power) is performed during the Hardware Tool update or the PSP
- kernel update, the status of the system becomes unstable and
- the system sometimes becomes unable to operate properly.
- In such a case, please start over from the beginning of the update,
- or contact SCE.
-
- 3. When performing processes according to writei_sys.bin, you may receive
- a message such as "No such file or directory".
- In such a case, please make sure that dsxfilesv is properly activated
- with devkit/flash as the current directory.
-
- 4. The prompt may not return to dstdb during the PSP system update.
- In this case, please press CTRL+C.
-
-
- --------------------------------------------------
- [PSP System Software Startup]
- The PSP system software can be started by inputting the following
- command lines on dstdb. From the PSP system software, it is possible
- to start a UMD(TM)/DVD game.
-
- prompt> bloadp kbooti.bin
- prompt> reset 20000000
-
- When developing a normal application program,
- please execute the following.
- prompt> bloadp kbooti.bin
- prompt> reset 00000000
-
- [Restrictions on the PSP System Software 1.5.0]
- - It is required to use the kbooti.bin that is included in each version.
- - The operation is confirmed only for DEM-1000R/DTP-T1000.
- - In DEM-1000R, the UMD application startup may not be performed
- properly. When starting from a UMD, please use DTP-T1000.
- - On DEM-1000R1, sleep mode/cancelled state may not be switched properly.
- Please use DTP-T1000 to confirm the sleep mode/cancelled state.
- - When switching between DVD/UMD, please restart the PSP system software
- by reset 20000000.
- - When the PSP system software is started for the first time,
- the message "Setting information is corrupted. Press the circle
- button to repair and restore default settings." will be displayed.
- Press the circle button, and restart after the screen is blacked out.
-
- ------------------------------
- [Additional Information]
- The "PSP Kernel Update" and the "PSP System Software Startup" can be
- performed also on the Windows version debugger (for Hardware Tool).
- For details, please refer to the document on the Windows version
- debugger (for Hardware Tool).
-
- - The following features for the PSP System Software are available
- only on the Hardware TOOL.
- "System Settings"
- "Available Memory"
- "Circle Button Behavior"
- "Volume Limitation"
