    Removing it shouldn't cause issues. If you let the 12v wire soldered at all time it'll eventually die on its own though!

    Nah ... this was switched on (+12V) ... "Write" selected ... then (+12V) switch off ... then rebooted which reveals it's bricked like a mofo ... lol. You can clearly see the "v1.8" in the video for Region Changer to boot.

    Funny as it hasn't worked on any of my dual BIOS systems and I have tried just doing it when doing a region swap as I like the blue swirl as I use blue led's in mine but not once have I ever gotten the black swirl to work even using the latest flasher in RC-1.

    Update ... fixed Dreamcast by re-programming Flash ROM :o)

    Also, I received my programmed BIOS chips today from Bad_Ad84 ... thanks!
