Thanks guys but I'm ok. I work in Kita Kyushu (the most northern part of Fukuoka) but live in Shimonoseki (The most southern part of Honshu). Where I live and work is pretty safe from floods. The rain was crazy though that's for sure. Actually, yesterday about 3pm one street was closed due to 45cm of water but it had gone by the evening. I'm sure glad my home is up hill. No chance of being flooded here. I'm off to the beach in an hour for a BBQ party with some friends. It's nice and sunny but I doubt the sand will be dry. Not a problem though since we have a big tarpaulin.
