N64 N64 JPN mod = GO (results topic)

Or say "noob frustrated gets out power tool". Again an extra console not selling well used for science.
Not a fun job yet. Were I taking requests I'd be less likely to consider occasional zero labor fee than the simple SNES, until my equipment is better.

    Mario Party 2 :)

    US block plate :(

Failed knife or scissors will take ages... Let's do something faster!

    Now room to fit?

    Yes there is.

    It's-a-me Mario. Wait I can't read this!?

It didn't matter much what approach I took.

Hidden under a game/doors 99% of the time.
Little risk to the console due to distance.
Even if this N64 broke by some fluke, there tends to be 100s of NTSC units on US ebay daily.

I like to use a dremel and make it as clean as possible even though it's hidden, also I see you have a nice converter for your famicom,I have one to but it's not to great.
You can't convince a believer of anything; for their belief is not based on evidence, it's based on a deep seated need to believe.

That converter hasn't been upgraded for powerpak sound or us castlevania 3. (even though i don't currently have those on hand, the person who was lined up to fix the converter is away).

And no. Sadly the famicom mic won't kill pols voice for me. I haven't diagnosed it. Maybe doesn't work for us carts?

I just completely removed the block, and the doors and kept a game in the slot so dust couldn't get in.

Isn't it just a few wires and a resistor?

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.

It's that and cutting a few traces for that particular converter. I've modded a couple of those so far and it's the best NES converter I've seen yet, even if you have to mod it to get full functionality out of it.
