Odd "Not For Resale" Extreme G, background?

A few weeks ago I won an eBay auction for a "Not for Resale" Extreme G, however this isn't a kiosk demo or anything like that judging from the label it's apart of a hardware bundle. I cannot find any information about a Nintendo 64 Hardware bundled with Extreme G. If any information helps, this a UKV Release. The cart, and booklet appear to be just like every other copy I've seen.

Any body know anything about it?

This is going from memory so this could be completely wrong because i didn't own a N64 until way later, but i think at some point you could buy the console new in store and pick from a selection of games to be bundled with it.

I was thinking about that, as it's till happens today... but when that happens they are usually just off shelf copies and not "Not for Resale" versions unless they are packed in with the system.

It's not uncommon for some stores to receive special bundle units here in the States. Case in point, Wal-Mart had a bundle version of the GameCube that contained that slightly different Zelda compilation disc.
Target had some store-only bundles that included additional games packed inside the system console box for some units.

Probably a pack in. The "NOT FOR RESALE" bit was to make sure stores didn't separate pack ins from the console and make additional money off a game sale.

Sega screwed up with the Smash Pack for the DC and stores sold it separately surely pissing Sega off but given the DC was dying I don't think they cared.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.
