    Mk1 Genesis = negative core
    Mk2 = Positive core
    GameGear = negative core or at least my pal one is i dont know if there was any regional difference in the GameGears

    all my systems are uk pal.

    Looks good. pal stuff can be difficult to find here, especially a mega cd attachment (i've mentioned that before).

    i'll be after getting a MK1 Mega-Cd next i think, i missed one today on ebay, it went for £26 + £6.50 postage had a few games with it too

    Yeah it's relative to point of view. for me postage as low as £26 might be miracles. Never checked the cost but quite a beast to ship.

    yeah they aint small lol, i've looked into shipping things from usa and elsewhere sometimes its cheaper to ship stuff from the usa to here then it is to get it shipped from england strange but true, veering way off topic now lol.

    True if you saw one, you'd know very quick. an american GameGear is easy to tell.

    Back stickers mention "Sega of America Inc." and our country's FCC. Two things that don't apply to most of the world.
    Any unit that says "Use 2103 AC adaptor only" will be positive core.

    Sega actually designed the US and Europe megadrive mk2 to follow US GameGear power specs, not the other way around it may seem. After all GameGear launched over two years before megadrive mk2.
