I found this forum running searches for NES gray screen of death advice. The business I bought it off of is willing to exchange it for a top loading NES-101 for an additional $20 (good deal, I figure), so now I'm looking into mods.

Figured I'd stick around, since you guys seem to have quite the community here.

I'ver been a gamer for over 30 years (yep, I started on Atari and ColecoVision when they were new), and I've never really slowed down (although I skipped straight from a NES to a PS1 on launch day).

I'm possibly looking to get into modding old consoles on my own, and/or employing some of you vets for stuff I want done.

In any case, glad to be here, and thanks for having me. :)
