Looking for one hell of a thick laptop

OK- I'm on the lookout for a laptop matching some fairly specific needs. If you know of any model that fits, just post it. Thanks!

    -15" or larger
-thick case, at least 2" (inches)
    -widescreen
    -older/cheap.

Basically I've narrowed it down to anything with a Pentium 4 CPU and a Geforce Go 6800, but the trouble comes with finding a specific model. Because I plan on using eBay, a vague description doesn't seem to work.

Or, if you happen to have one, PM me.

Some old "Sager" notebooks were incredibly thick. The high-end models from the Win98/XP eras especially, I think the 3001S might be close to 2", though it's a 4:3 screen.
Might I ask what it's for? The case?

No widescreen either, but Sony's Vaio PCG-FR415B is huge. Might even have one to give away (well, free plus S&H) in a few weeks - lemme know in case you're interested.

    Yay! I love everyone here.

And yes, it's for the case.

EDIT- The Sony one seems to be 4:3, though. However, that Clevo/Alienware one is a winner! I've seen one before (couldn't remember brand name or model number) but that beast has a full desktop P4 processor. Heatsink has 5 heatpipes! 2 fucking optical drives! WTF were they thinking?
OK- I'm now on the search for that model. However, I'll still take suggestions, because the Clevo/Alienware one is expensive (or, people still sell them for ridiculously high prices)

So I assume you're going to put something inside of the case? Care to tell us what?

Pool7- it won't be that bad- I have everything in palce, it's more of a plug-and-play deal for me. I was going to use a larger case (Sony Video* camera hard case) but it's REALLY big, and I'd rather use the space for a liquid cooled PS3 laptop project, because there's enough room for it.

mairsil- it could work if one pops up, but the Celvo/Alienware one looks much better than the XPS one for case aesthetics. I'm only keeping the case, so I might as well have a nice one!

I hope this is not a dream-breaker (does such term even exist?), and I'm ot sure if this is what inspired you, but someone did this "PS3-in-a-laptop" back in 2008...

    Looks pretty cool!
Still looking forward to seeing how it comes out :)

Nah- that' Benjamin Heckendorn's laptop. He's one hell of a crazy portabalizer- I recall him saying he's done ever single system. He's got all the tools and equipment, plus the cash to make such a nice machine. I on the other hand an doing this off a student budget, with access to basic tools :/

That Clevo/Alienware though- it's perfect. I might even be able to use an HP ZD8000 if the new PS3 slim has the right hardware adjustments.

Just thought I'd mention that I found a laptop, an M7700a (same thing, but with AMD)
so, I'm aiming to get my PS3 crammed in there pretty soon, when I find the time.
