Wow that is a nice deal. I've seen component cable sell for $120 here in the states. Excellent deal! Too bad PAL games don't do progressive scan on the GC.

thank god for imports :) mad they removed 480p out of PAL versions but on the up side PAL cubes were wired for RGB scart

i think the down side is PAL cubes can't use japanese mode. affects some games if true.

yep that is true f-zero is one game were all text and even the HUD is miising when loaded on a PAL console :(

but can be fixed using a action reply.dol and a simple code :)

yeah f-zero jpn left in the unfinished english translation. still has awkward phrases like "By stick LR." and "Please choice.".

I managed to get a set off eBay for $55.00 plus shipping. It did require constant searching but there are tons of programs/apps that will aid you. Also, in my experience, those cables that are said to be available via GameStop tend to be mislabeled multi-console cables . I have heard of people scoring GC component cables cheap before, so it could happen.
