Anyone else played it yet? I'm torn personally. Leon's scenario did a good job of creating an atmosphere, almost like a horror game! It had zombies too, like a Resident Evil game! Even though you barely fight any, the few you do put up a good enough show to actually feel like a threat, but without feeling like they aren't zombies anymore. I also very nearly ran out of ammo, so if that holds then hurrah they've brought survival horror back to a survival horror franchise! Chris' scenario was just RE6 again, running and gunning, no zombies, just Plagas things or whatever the heck they're called now, pure action, no horror, dull dull dull. I couldn't even start Jake's scenario, couldn't figure out how to make him move his ass and run, i'm sure i'm missing something obvious there. Although i'm not sure how i feel about the Terminator meets Executioner like dude.
So, it seems like they've brought the old school survival horror feel back for one scenario, and the dull (in my opinion) action stuff for the RE4/5 lovers for another. That could be a smart move, but it could also mean short playtime and a disjointed story. I haven't really been paying attention to this, i'm in the camp of fans that despise RE4/5 and i figured this was going to be more of the same, so i was pleasantly surprised with Leons scenario. Still not sure i care enough to actually pick it up though. What's your opinion?
