List of Namco Gun Shooting PCBs & I/O Boards
There's plenty of info out there on the Sega side of gun shooting games but thought it would be useful if there was a Namco equivalent and for selfish reasons, I would like to know so I can complete my gun shooting board collection.

Not Namco Made game (actually Sega Made) but still uses Namco parts/hardware
Vampire Night - Can't see a board number other then it says "JV TMIU PCB" but it's a namco pcb.
This is what I could dig on others

I'm not 100% but I think cobra can use the TC3 IO.

I should clarify this as Namco developed or distributed.
I'll add Vampire Night to the list.
Time Crisis III is an odd one as MAME has it documented as V221 and I'm fairly sure that V185 is Time Crisis II only. Also, the I/O boards have 1 game specific EPROM on them so I don't think any V221 will work for Cobra (I have the main board but not the I/O board).

For TC3, I think I've seen that it can use/uses V185. I don't always follow what mame says because sometimes they get it wrong (or not entire info). I should add I'm the one (along with others) who has been building a proper DB on Namco System 246/256 software (Link below). Cobra I was not fully sure and just going off some second hand info by someone with a running rig. I do own the software for Cobra, TC3 & Vampire Night but only have the IO for Vampire Night (Just got it).
After a quick google search, there is someone on klov who was selling TC3 PCB (246c w/ software) and says TC3 is compatible with TC2 IO (v185)

The PCB is a V221 but the Roms say "XMIU1".
Looking at the image I can see this is the same PCB I have for Vampire Night (a sticker covers the V221 part) but my roms are TMIU1 PROG0 B (the other chip is TMIU1 PLD0, same Mame says is for TC3)
It's possible cobra could use the V221 with a different rom.
I got Namco IO V291, what is it for?

This is interesting.. I'd honestly expect many of the gun games to be IO independent- to the point that one could rig up a stock io of any brand with analog inputs and have it register as x/y coordinates...
My testing on Cobra seems to reflect this- with nothing connected except a stock sega basic IO (I forget the number), the service menu seems to be reading analog inputs as the coordinates, and I somewhat wonder how pervasive this operation is. I'll have to test this more, as well as seeing the reactions from different IO boards on different games- I'm up to around 8+ different io with analog inputs on hand at the moment.
Is this what you are referring to? a straight analog x/y input for gun location?
