    donno its real name, but the larger IO port on the back of the PS1. Where the VCD and many Cheat devices connect to.
    Ill be happy if adding such a port was easy. Serial is easier Rx Tx and some extra.

    I've understand (i know what is pio), but what enters your answer with the topic????
    BTW on 900X and Psone PIO port can be easily added (i don't remember the name of the device :P) ;)

    yeah sorry, nevermind. Topic needs to stay ontopic.
    my scope works and most of the ps1 ive tested so far show no real trouble (maybe other problem why game wont run on 1 unit).
    so thx for bringing up this topic, dint knew before this possible way to test.
