Advice: What's the best SCART RGB to Video Component converter?

Ok, I finally found a Panasonic 42" 95cm x 75cm TV with video component input.

I see there are several direct cables that have video component on one side, and scart on the other but I seriously doubt that this would be a good way to go.

I keep seeing some converters that only get video and forget about the audio that is also carried in a scart cable for old systems like the neo geo, genesis and so on.

So, which would be the best converter that also takes care of audio?

In most cases you want a different converter box for an HDTV than an SDTV. Often LCD sets will not directly accept the video mode of old systems through component input, even if they take it fine using composite or s-video.

Get an audio breakout box or a rgb scart selecter box with audio breakout but, honestly component isn't the best way to go. Scart rgb to vga gives the best quality in most situations.

Yeah but can you name a single CRT TV with VGA input?

Or a 42 inches monitor display?

That's a good point. I've been looking for such a device, but they don't seem to exist.

Is your TV a CRT? You didn't explicitly say.

Oh.. sorry that was my mistake.

Yeah, I finally got a 42 inches C R T, can you imagine that? It's huge and awesome. I'll go pick it up tomorrow!
