Send them where ever you like at your expense. lol

I hope you realise I only offer ram upgraded boards, not complete consoles and not the CPU upgrade

He still does the upgrades, just email him. You guys make it sound like these boards (128MB RAM) are impossible to find! I have 2 working xbox's w/ extra ram and another spare!

Also, for evreyone looking into upgrades. You can buy a debug kit and just use its motherboard. It has 128MB of ram and a pin-header pre installed. Keep in mind the RAM on a debug motherboard is factory installed by machines, so it leaves no room for errors or nasty surprises down the road. Also if you get a debug kit, you will also get a complete unit instead of a motherboard. Just food for thought.

Honestly id just weigh the prices, but if Bad_Ad84 has good prices then maybe that's the best option :)

I do elc work for a living...

So from what I'm getting, there's an empty spot/2 for another memory IC?

How much would everyone be willing to pay for this? Xboxs are <free, shipping will be the killer.

If there's interest, I will make anther thread...

Yep, you essentially just solder those suckers on:

He makes that look hard... most of the ICs I deal with have pins 1/2 that size and/or a ground pad, and/or no pins(solder directly to the IC)...

If someone would like to provide a little more info, I could churn out a few of these by tuesday.

    1.0 -> 1.5
anything 1.6 has the extra pads removed.

By "mix versions" do you mean mixing the donor ram between versions? i.e. donor from a 1.4 and upgrading a 1.1?

I am looking at selling at around £40 for a upgraded board.

So are you already doing this for people? I don't want to PO anyone...

Is the memory the same one the 1.6? they're easier to find than a <1.5

1.6 uses different brand ram with different timings if I remember right. You want the samsung ram chips, not hynix like in the 1.6

I am doing this and have been for awhile, just never offered it here.

I only have like 4-5 boards just knocking around, I do not intend to buy more to offer boards for sale. But I will still offer to do the work for people who have boards + ram.

So if you want to buy boards and sell them, go nuts.

I have done the RAM mod many times. last time was a couple of years ago ... not many people looking for this service anymore.
I'm located in Sydney Australia, can complete this service if you send me a donor board and target board (must be 1.0-1.5)
Ill have a look to see if i have any boards lying around i can build up

If you want the CPU upgrade trusty is the only one who can do it

For now. It's just a matter of building the adapter and finding the correct ZIF socket.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.

Thought it'd be worth mentioning I got in touch with Trusty. Seems he's still doing the full service for USD $240 (CPU+RAM)
I'll send off my board and update here.
