I actually emailed him less than a month ago and here are the latest prices:

    His email: trustyty@hotmail.com

    1, V1.4 or V1.1 secondhand complete boards already done with 1.4G+128M: 240 USD;
1.1,if you send me 5pcs working XBOX boards(V1.0~V1.5),I will return you one 1.4G/128M XBOX board..
2, You can send your board to me to get the upgrade (to 1.4G+128M),
the price : 195 USD, Working time: max 4 days
3, You can also send your board to me to get the upgrade (to 1.4G only ),
the price : 180 USD, Working time: max 4 days
4, Please notice my prices are included already the postal cost by DHL,
and the special DIY heatsink for 1.4G CPU..
5, The board I send you is a secondhand board, as now there are no complete
    new boards in the market..
6, To use my board, just plug and play ,as everything was done.
( except that you need cut the hard disk's frame to avoid the overheating of the CPU,
    for detail,see my post:

As an alternative i do have a broken motherboard which has 128MB of RAM. I believe the P/E trace is messed up and it also needs a small resistor which was knocked off. I'll sell it as is if your interested, but it does not even power on!

I'll make an attempt at finishing a half finished RAM installation I was doing on a v1.4 XBox I have and get back to you. I might have found something that will let me perform the mod successfully.

Seems I have no trouble getting the chips onto the XBox but I can't for the life of me remove them properly. If the chips are loose I can install them.

I have about 6 consoles to strip and upgrade, intend to just sell the boards to save shipping costs (and space!)

If you've got a v1.2-1.5 I'll take one depending on the price shipped. I still need to send you that expansion pak.

For the love of all things holy I can't find anyone to sell me the chips bare and I won't have the money to buy a hot air station for some time.

I'm interested in this too if any one wants a virgin 1.2 board in exchange plus any other small fees incurred. Interest as in a board with the 128 MB RAM already added. IT is NTSC-U model. Want a NTSC-U model in exchange. Just be sure it is a 1.2 to 1.5 model so it works with my psu if you care to trade.
