ok today the mac arrived so now some littles things left before i can start with the 3do m2 checking =)

since its doesnt have a normal vga connector is there a way to let this mac run on a normal pc like monitor ?

i see at least 2 monitor connector:
    1. on the graphic card which i think can be driven with a normal vga monitor through a cheap adapter db15-vga or am i wrong ?
    2. on the left site (3rd from top) there is a straight connector which looks like some kind of dvi connector (where they already around in 1995 ?) so could i just stick my lcd on that ? (havent checked if they even fit physically but they look not too much different)

heres a picture of a similar powermac so you know what i mean (sorry for huge size)

    1. Yes, you can run most old Macs on a standard VGA monitor using the adapter you mentioned. Apple-branded monitors from that era often had a weird connector, but if you're using a standard VGA monitor then you should be OK. I used to run an old pre-G3 Mac and installed a Voodoo PCI card which allowed me a straight VGA connection with no adapters needed.

    2. I have no idea what that DVI connector thing is...never seen it before.

lol thanks for that hint my 23"lcd has a composite in for video i just switch it in there so i dont have to wait the 2-3 days till the adapter arrives =)

btw. the picture isnt my powerpc but it should be the same model iam a little behind with my photoseries since i also have pictures of the 3do m2 cards and some other stuff on my digicam but hadnt time to load it to the pc

Oh, this is a Nubus model? Then no, no 3DFX Voodoo cards exist for this model.
Give the adapter a try...I'm 99% it will work just fine.
