N64 everdrive 64 no heatsink need?

I was wondering if the cartridge needs no heatsink.
Is not it bad for the card that he get so hot.

Sorry my english is not so good.

    Heat sink?

You mean the metal shielding? That's not for heat to my knowledge. Cart may work without it, but I wouldn't suggest it.

I bought him (with Shell and CIC)

    No metal shielding in cart.
Is it better to have a metal shield in the card?

A metal shield would help reduce interference either going into the cart or leaving it. While the Everdrive64 clearly has not been tested and approved by the FCC I don't think you'd need to add one if it appears to be working just fine.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.
