    This isn't real is it?

These look like spray paint jobs (the seller has others) and as far as I know dreamcast controllers never came in that colour, especially not in PAL regions

"Never opened" lol, look at the picture... Never seen a controller like this, I guess he found a way to tunnel the paint through the cardboard to paint the controller from the outside of the box without opening it up!

    HAHA!!
Well yes indeed, like obviously I don't have any problem with modding controllers but the lies! Why must there be so many lies on ebay?
Honestly, if it's a good paint job that's not too bad a price for a boxed painted controller if you happen to fancy one.
    Bah

You can tell that it is a crappy paintjob. Too much paint, too little sanding.

Now that you say it, it seems like it was dipped in thick outdoor paint... or melted caoutchouc...

I saw the seller advertising a gold controller and I simply emailed him and asked if it was 'genuine factory gold' he replied saying that it was sprayed. Personally I think the spray job looks okay but wouldn't buy one as I suspect it would come off over extended play as I have official silver controllers that the colour has rubbed away on.
