75% we can play with emulators.
nah, 100% we can play via emulators.
thanks to some people like this guy
Just saying..but are we sure that Tetris is legit and not some repro? Just saying....
(I have no idea either way but always stay cautious on these.)
I also read that he amassed 95% JP homecart collection in 6 months or so. I hope his sources are good (ie not Aki stores which are littered with conversions now) or that he can spot a fake (as sadly some are exceptionally good now, even 'correcting' their common flaws like staple placement etc).
@ Shou - each to their own. I fucking despise collectors of only sealed games (I love a sealed game myself...95% of the time for games I adore / whore though), but dropped the preaching / holier than thou attitude finally.
Bleh
Although I do agree the fade etc shifts this more to quantity over quality imo (Tetris aside lol). I'd rather have one flawless conditioned game than a dozen flawed.
Where's Adol with some update piccies when you need him!
I think adol is here:

;)
More than 1000 arcade pcb's? :o I'd love to see a picture of that!
Dammit, one arcade pcb is a tough store as it is. Little to protect from damage. 1000 takes it to the point of... O_O
there's a guy in France who owns 450 arcade.... cabinets, including a R-360 ^^
I confirm.
Besides, you can't really compare who claim to have 9.000 and or XXX cabs and someone who proves it by making HUNDREDS of pictures of them, where you can clearly see each item, and its condition.
Like cyberguile said, i think there are great collectors in France.
If you think quantity over quality, well I think i easily have 15.000 games,so what? That figure isn't that incredible. But a 1500 games fullset isn't really th esame thing than having 1500 duck hunts carts.
With 1 Rendering Ranger i could buy 1500 J League Prime Goal games. Quantity isn't the point in collecting i think.
Fun is.
damn both these people have massive collections >.> but why on earth would you try sell the entire lot in one go good luck with the shipping cost XD
incredible dedication to collect on that scale, a man truely obsessed![]()
why sell? or are these just parts of your collection you are weeding out/got tired of?.. im guessing you have tons of games for the consoles not present in this auction aswell..
för gud gillar inte fattiga och gud gillar inte svartingar och inte fan gillar han dig, han har glömt dig för längesen, häng gud!
Hi Adol,
Your collection is quite frankly the best in the world. You should open it to the public as a museum.
Perhaps you have answered this before Adol but I'd like to know how did you accomplish this? Do you work in the Video Game industry? Surely the cost was over 1,000,000.00 to gather it all.
[QUOTE=Adol;594532]I'd be glad to offer shipping costs if you take it at the buy it now price ;)
lol i could never afford it you need to be rich to buy that =p but i wonder who has the bigger collection you or thelastgamer ?
that link just got bookmarked for when i win the lootery XD
Indeed, i just put those fullsets together because i thought this way:
"All sega systems"
" All Nintendo home systems" (up to Gamecube,i don't have interest into WII, and i didn't collect Nintendo handheld systems like GB/GBC/GBA/DS/3DS, not up to fullsets at least
'" All Nec systems"
but it doesn't include the various japanese computer collections, SNK,Atari, Sony, Microsoft systems related games etc..this isn't the whole collection at all.
You'll easily find pictures of this collection on digitpress room of doom, or elswhere,as much of ti was done since 2007-2008 (the only fullset i managed since then was ending the FC cart one and the Gamecube one)
I don't think much people would come all over the world for it ^_^
I have absolutely ZERO connection with any VG industry, publisher, or whatsoever. I'm a regular guy, who collects for 15 years now, who got lucky sometimes, unlucky some other times, who bought from Internet (i had a shop during 3 years, but i didn't buy stuff from there, as i collect JPN stuff and there wasn't much to buy here in France back at the time) mostly.
Hard work and patience for 15 years long would help.
